In the newly released report by the European Environment Agency, they specifically single out CEA as a positive impact on biodiversity and overall ecosystem service, simply because a circular CEA system captures water (rain) and reduces pressure on the water table, prevents soil erosion and helps with the soil regenerative biodiversity buildup.
As we focus on engaging with policy-makers on the topic of CEA, FarmTech Society has advocated in an officially registered feedback process to help shape and evaluate the common agriculture policy.
