Brief description of FarmTech Society and overview of activities, including PONICS VET
online training classes with Erasmus+ ECVET credentials, advocating for the industry in
Brussels, and North American engagements such as USDA and EU H2020, EFAS grant
opportunities.
Followed by Panel Discussion: Business Models for Vertical Farming
The target of the session is to develop a better understanding of the commercial models in
the emerging equation in intensive CEA to help shape the discussion for the future of
regulatory applications and system supply chain in order to create smart circular solutions for
the integration of intensive indoor growing such as vertical farming in the challenges ahead.
